The Decisions You Need to Make When Installing a Shower in Your Bathroom

The first decision you should make when installing a shower in your bathroom is to pick between mixer and electric showers. Watch out, because they also split into other variants as well... variants that may best suit your type of bathroom or not. Electric showers are convenient because they're not as high maintenance or difficult to install as mixers. Showermania electric showers in particular only need an electrical supply, a cold water supply, and some space... that's it. Of course, if you want your shower to come really cheap, then you could do away with the electrical supply and brace yourself for cold showers every time (hopefully, you won't catch pneumonia during winter and whatnot).

Mixer Showers versus Electric Showers

·         A mixer shower can mix cold water from your regular water system and hot water from the heating system plus your regular water system to produce the perfect shower temperature that won't have you ending up scalded and whatnot. The main advantage of such showers is that you'll get to bath at the correct hotness/coldness regardless of season, plus you have a wealth of choices to choose from. However, drops of weather temperature can affect shower temperature as well.

·         Meanwhile, electric showers are more adept at gauging the right temperature for you to bath by heating the shower water just right. Then again, a lot of people are leery about installing electric showers in light of the fact that electricity and water mix together too well, which could lead to electrocution. Sure, these showers have passed all safety standards, but you must ensure that a qualified tradesman is there to install it.

·         Don't forget that mixer showers require decent cold water pressure to operate. With that said, in terms of electric showers versus mixer showers, you should buy them in accordance to your needs and what sort of water system you've set up. If you're leery about electricity and your shower being together, get a heater and a mixer shower setup.Click here to know more about it
